Description
What is the Southwest Metro Leadership Program?
It’s a 9-month community engagement program designed to develop leadership skills, gain awareness of the Southwest Metro community, create a network of informed leaders and encourage greater involvement in the community.
Who Should Attend?
This program is ideal for the rising star in your organization. It sends a clear message that your business values their employees & is committed to developing the next generation of community leaders. It is also great for someone who is new to our community to expedite their learning curve.
What will I learn?
Topics are presented through the insights of prominent individuals from the public and private sectors. The program also includes group work, self-exploration, site visits, and interactive experiences. Participants work in teams on projects of their own design to support a community cause.
What is the Commitment?
Participants need to attend at least 7 of the 9 sessions to graduate from the program. There are no make-up sessions. Each session is approximately four hours.
