Manage Your Taxes. Use the opportunities in the current tax laws.
If you don’t pay your fair share of taxes, the IRS will catch up with you. They will present you with a bill that shows the amount you did not pay, potentially with a penalty and interest to boot. This bill may come years after the fact…when you least expect …or can afford to pay it. On the other hand, if you have not taken advantage of every possible tax break for which you qualify, it is likely that you will not hear a thing. That means it is our personal responsibility to understand what tax breaks apply to our situation - a tall order for anyone.
On January 15, we will review the most critical and widely encompassing tax laws for 2012, as well as what is on the horizon for 2013 and beyond.
