La Danse Fatale, a non-profit youth performing arts ballet company celebrating their 15th season, will highlight their new work, “The Magic Key” at the Eden Prairie High School Performing Arts Center. The company will have two performances; one at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3rd, 2018, and another at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4th, 2018. Ticket prices are $17/adult and $13/student and senior citizens. Tickets go on sale on Monday, January 22 at www.ladansefatale.org. "The Magic Key" is a story of a trapped ghost, evil spirits, a flamboyant magician, and a courageous young girl. The piece is centered around the Magic Key that can change the course of history; either by helping our main characters or sending them on a road of despair and destruction. Which one will prevail? Come and see for yourself! The debut of this original piece incorporates ballet, pointe, and contemporary choreography and is the sequel to last year's production " A Clock of Curious Times". This premiere is sure to entertain and delight all ages. La Danse Fatale is comprised of dancers ranging from ages 11 to 18 and offers performing opportunities for serious dancers as a transition to the professional stage. Performances are directed and choreographed by Julia Levina, the company’s artistic director. For more information, visit www.ladansefatale.org. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
