Waytek, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Wayne Larson and was incorporated in 1972 when Wayne's brother, Norm Larson, joined the company. They initially worked as manufacturer's reps in the industry and made wire harnesses. In 1980, Waytek became primarily a stocking distributor. Although the Larsons did not continue to produce wire harnesses, they utilized their vast experience to supply quality products to other manufacturers in the industry.
Since incorporation in 1972, Waytek has expanded several times to serve a wider range of customers and has come a long way from a small beginning. Continued growth is the result of Waytek's most recent move in April, 2007 to its custom-built 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Today, Waytek is still a family owned business that prides itself on offering high quality electrical wiring products - all at competitive prices and superior customer service!
