\nThe WILLIAM&rsquo\;S WINGS Foundation is hosting its 5^th Annual William&rsquo\;Swings Golf Tournament on Monday May 22^nd\, 2017 at Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove\, MN. \; \;We are requesting sponsorships (see attached for sponsorship levels) and silent auction donations for our event.

\nOur Story\n

Our beautiful\, first born son\, William Douglas Luecke was a perfectly healthy\, happy\, and outgoing boy. \; William passed away suddenly\, at 8 ½\; months old during a nap at daycare on February 27^th\, 2012. \; William brought joy to every person he met during his short life. \; His smile is unforgettable.

\nOur Mission\n\n

The mission of William&rsquo\;s Wings Foundation is to provide hope\, healing\, help and hopefully smiles again for families grieving the loss of a child. \; We want to help all families who face this horrific tragedy. \;

\n\n

To be a shoulder to lean on during a families most difficult time after experiencing loss.
To be an avenue of resources when a family doesn&rsquo\;t know which way to turn.
To provide support for organizations who conduct research\, education\, and informational activities related to sudden unexpected infant deaths. \;
To advocate for the health and survival of all children.

\nAccomplishments\n\n

In 2015\, an Angel of Hope statue was erected near downtown Chanhassen by William&rsquo\;s Wings as a place to remember and find healing for any family experiencing the loss of a child. \; William&rsquo\;s Wings has partnered with Faith&rsquo\;s Lodge\, a place where families who have experienced the loss of a child can retreat to reflect on the past\, renew strength and hope and faith for the future. In 2016\, the first SIDS-centered weekends took place at Faith&rsquo\;s Lodge\, fully sponsored by William&rsquo\;s Wings. \; William&rsquo\;s Wings supports Hope for the Mourning\, this organization sends a care package of books\, gift certificates and other resources to families in their most immediate time of need\, soon after the loss of a child. \; In 2016 William&rsquo\;s Wings partnered with Babies Need Boxes\, and organization providing supplies and a safe sleep environment to newborns. \; It is rewarding to see what this organization has done with our support. \; In 2016 every baby leaving Ridgeview Medical in Waconia\, MN received a SleepSack courtesy of William&rsquo\;s Wings. \; The SleepSack helps keep babies comfortable in a safe manner for sleeping. \;
