SUMMARY:Strategic Planning Meeting - Historic Preservation
DESCRIPTION:Please save the date of November 28th \, 2012 for a Strategic Planning Meeting related to Historic Preservation.  Over the past year\, the City Council and Heritage Preservation Commission have been involved in a strategic planning process and the purpose of this meeting is to involve the various stakeholders and interest groups to discuss historic preservation.  We will be covering the following information:\n\n \n\n                  What is historic preservation (it may not be what you think!)\n\n \n\n                  What is the City's role?\n\n \n\n                  Interactive Case Studies \n\n \n\n                  How the Secretary of the Interior's Standards are applied\n\n \n\n                  How other requirements or goals interact with historic     preservation efforts\n\n \n\n \n\nStaff from the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office will also be attending.\n\n \n\nThe meeting will be on November 28th at 6:30 at the Church by the River.  More information will be provided about a week before the meeting.
