DESCRIPTION:Loving Kindness Yoga Class & Meditation with visiting yoga teacher Lindsey Koch\n\nSunday February 16th\, 6:00-8:30pm (2 hour class followed by 1/2 hour social with wine & chocolates)\n\n$20/person (20% discount for G&T Yoga Members)\; sign up in our Online Store under "Workshops"!\n\n\n\nJoin Lindsey on a journey to loving kindness through deep hip and heart opening asanas\, and unfold a deeper sense of love toward self and others.\n\nThis 2-hour class will:\n\n\n\n-take you through heart and hip opening yoga postures\n\n-guide you through a special loving kindness meditation practice that will cleanse and nourish the heart from the inside out.\n\n-end with final relaxation with gentle massage\n\n\n\nJust as you can practice heart opening in your thoughts and emotions\, you can also experience opening the heart space in your physical body.  Heart opening poses are both energizing and empowering.  Through the heart chakra\, we open to and connect with harmony and peace. The health of our heart center registers the quality and power of love in our life\n\n\n\nThoroughly opening the hips alleviates tightness\, not only in the hips\, but in other parts of the body as well\, including the lower back\, hamstrings\, and even the jaw.\n\n\n\nCombining hip and heart opening poses can have additional benefits such as releasing bound up emotions\, stimulating circulation and relieving mild depression\, anxiety and fatigue.\n\n\n\nThis class will leave you filled with infinite love and gratitude for your practice and yourself! Appropriate for all levels.  Practiced in a comfortably warm studio.
