DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Monthly Membership Luncheon! Our speaker is:\n\n\n\nVP\, Business Connect/Corporate Affairs\, MNSBHC\, Alex Tittle\n\n \n\nAlex currently serves as the Vice President of the Business Connect Program and Corporate Affairs for the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee.  The Business Connect Program is the "supplier diversity" program centered on the 2018 Super Bowl.  Alex brings his success and expertise around community and corporate partnerships to this role in an effort to ensure that local minority\, women\, veteran and LGBT businesses network and learn how to conduct their respective businesses with the NFL and its contractors.  \n\nFor almost three years\, Alex Tittle served as the chief consultant for the Equity Program of the US Bank Stadium design-build project.  This program's purpose is to ensure that the equity plan is facilitated appropriately. The program outlines compliance measures regarding workforce and small & disadvantaged businesses on the US Bank Stadium. The project accomplished more than $300 Million to Minority\, Women and Veteran Owned Small Business while achieving 36% minority and 9% women labor throughout the $1.1 Billion stadium project.  \n\nPrior to this role\, he served as Director for the Office of Civil Rights\, of the Minnesota Department of Transportation.  Alex directly supervised the section leaders who are representative of the Small Business Contracting Section (DBE\, TGB and Veterans Preference Program)\, Contract Compliance Section (EEO\, Title II & VI) and the Business Development Section (Training\, Outreach\, Contracts and Federal Reports).  All Civil Rights leadership is committed as servant leaders to uphold public needs and collaboration with internal and external partners to create a transparent\, efficient and sustainable transportation system for the future. \n\n Upon arrival to Minnesota\, Alex served over four years at Summit Academy OIC as Education Program Director for the post-secondary institution\, creating and directing construction and healthcare programs.
