Join local chambers of commerce and trade associations as we lobby with one voice at the State Capitol on the issues that will shape the state's economy.Minnesota Business Day at the Capitol provides all sizes and types of companies the opportunity to network with peers and see the Legislature in action while at the same time influence public policies important to business. Seize this chance to personally share your concerns on major priorities such as balancing the budget\, workforce and K-12 education\, heath care costs as well as key energy and environmental issues. Progress on these critical issues\, and many more\, will help ensure that Minnesota continues to thrive in a global economy.Two sessions are offered to accommodate schedules. Each session includes a kickoff breakfast\, a briefing on the business community's top legislative issues and individual appointments with lawmakers at the Capitol. All participants come together for a special luncheon program which traditionally includes an address from the Governor. Legislative appointments are arranged by request\, transportation to the Capitol is provided\, and all background meeting materials and meals are supplied with your registration.
