DESCRIPTION:Help a good cause by participating in the 3rd annual Boots 'n Boas 5K/10K Run/Walk and Fun Dash\, presented by St. Francis Sports Medicine\, the Eden Prairie News\, and Savvy and Edible Twin Cities Magazines.\n\n\n\nBring along your favorite boots and don a complimentary feather boa for the 50-yard dash\, as a fun photo opportunity in support of two local orgazinations dedicated to ending domestic abuse:  Cornerstone and Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women.  There will be vendor booths to shop\, and prizes and awards handed out in the end\, starting around 10:30 am.\n\n\n\nThe 5K/10K takes place in beautiful Purgatory Park in Eden Prairie\, an easy-going\, flat terrain that wraps around the wetlands.\n\n\n\nTo register visit www.active.com and search for the 'Boots 'n Boas' event.
