Gather a gardening friend and register today for the Minnesota Landscape Auxiliary's annual Private Garden Tours on Sunday, July 15, Tuesday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 18. Guests travel on luxury air-conditioned motor coaches, followed by a delightful, chef-made Sunday brunch or weekday lunch buffet served on the Arboretum's gorgeous Morgan Terrace. Live harp music will accompany dining.
The Auxiliary tour showcases four lovely local gardens including a restored shoreline providing a natural habitat for wildlife and plants, also beautiful wooded areas as well as sunny gardens, many water features, a rock garden and a mix of beautiful trees, flowers and hostas, interspersed with herbs, fruits and vegetables.
The tours will take place regardless of weather. Each tour lasts approximately three hours. All tours are led by knowledgeable guides. The tours cannot accommodate those with special needs, including wheelchairs, walkers, etc.
There are three times each date for the tour; the Sunday brunch tour is $65, the weekday price is $55.
