SUMMARY:Carver County Community Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Connecting the Pieces: Housing and Homelessness in Carver County\n\nCarver County CDA will be hosting a Community Conversation on January 25\, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chanhassen High School\, Room S100\, the Lecture Forum (off the Commons area). This will be the second Community Engagement event for Heading Home Scott-Carver. Quarterly conversations will be held around affordable housing and homelessness in our community.\n\nHeading Home Scott-Carver was created in the belief that no person man\, woman\, or child- should have to sleep in a car\, in the woods\, under a bridge\, in an abandoned building or in a place not meant for human habitation. We also recognize that homelessness in our County often involves couch-hoping or being doubled-up.\n\nOne of the guiding principles of Heading Home Scott-Carver is that Community-wide involvement is required. Join us as we continue our discussion on the partnerships in our community and how you can play a role. You will hear from the Chair of Heading Home Scott-Carver\, learn about the Coordinated Entry System and hear from the many agencies in our community that are working to address homelessness.
